Your First Visit to Our Maplewood Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

The purpose of the first visit is to get to know each other. There will be some paperwork to fill out and a short 10 minute video on chiropractic to watch. Then Dr. Peterson and you will meet to go over your health concerns and goals and discuss if chiropractic is likely to help you.

If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help to identify the cause of your problem. After your examination it may be determined that x-rays are needed to complete your diagnosis.

This visit usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Patients appreciate that we explain everything.

Dr. Peterson Asks some important questions of interest to Maplewood residents - Chiropractor Maplewood Dr. Peterson Asks...

How do chiropractors help ADHD?
There is agreement that ADHD is a nervous system disorder. And while chiropractic isn't a treatment for ADHD, if your child has vertebral subluxations, resolving them will often produce profound results. Click here to learn why more and more Maplewood parents are choosing natural chiropractic care rather than dangerous psychotropic drugs.
Where do most Maplewood residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Maplewood newborn.
